On November 8, 2023, the opening of the jubilee exhibition "Meeting of a Tenth Kind" was held in the Art Gallery of the city of Sandanski. The exhibition is part of the "Connection" project of the Cultural and Information Center of North Macedonia in Sofia and is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of North Macedonia. About 50 works of art by 16 authors were presented at the exhibition.
The event was attended by important representatives of the cultural life of the city of Sandanski, artists and lovers of visual arts, as well as the management of the Municipality of Sandanski.
The exhibition was opened by the mayor of Sandanski, Mr. Atanas Stojanov, who warmly addressed the guests and wished for successful cooperation in the field of culture in the future as well. The director of the Center of North Macedonia Sashko Nasev Ph.D. expressed his gratitude for the hospitality of the Municipality of Sandanski and the cooperation offered. Curator Ivo Petsov Ph.D. presented the content of the exhibition and specifically referred to the authors' names and the works included in it.
The art gallery of the city of Sandanski, which is part of the House of Culture, hosted the "Meeting of the Tenth Kind" until November 19, 2023.
The exhibition was part of the events that marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between North Macedonia and Bulgaria.
